TheDilmun Club

a welcome to the Club
The Dilmun Club founded in 1974 is a family orientated, sports and social club located in the residential area of Saar, and has become an integral part of the expat community in Bahrain.

The Club provides a safe, relaxed and friendly atmosphere for a wide range of social, sporting and recreational activities.

We cater to all tastes of food and beverage through our six outlets. These range from our more traditional British pub-style bar, The Bulls Head through to our fine dining, candlelit ambient restaurant, The Bistro.

The Dilmun also contains a range of sporting facilities, including two tennis courts, two squash courts, two riding paddocks and one recently returfed astroturf football pitch.

TheBull's Head

Perhaps one of the largest renovations the club has seen in recent years is the complete redesign of the Bull’s Head bar.

Everything has been re-designed from the ground up, including an extension to make the bar much larger. This was achieved by knocking down the walls into the old changing rooms. This has allowed for a much larger straight bar to make serving customers more efficient.

The new furniture has been custom designed to match the new vibe and ambience of the Bull’s Head bar whilst still providing a very comfortable place to relax and drink or eat with friends.

ProjectSports Lounge Decking

The previously unused patch of ground outside of the Project Sports Lounge has now been transformed into a brand new decking area with subtle accent lighting to create a beautiful ambience. Members are now able to sit outside surrounded by the Dilmun Gardens, and with the addition of new cooling fans, all year round.

We give a big thank you to Projects Bahrain for the all the support and the incredible workmanship they have delivered in such a short space of time.

ThePool Area

The Pool has recently undergone it’s annual maintenance, however, this year it has also had extra developments, including new handrails, ladders and additional lighting.

The poolside has also seen large improvements. We have removed the old green turf and replaced it with brand new Mediterranean style tiles. The old rough white pool lip has also been swapped with a new softer brick. For added safety, a section of black, non-slip rubber matting has also been added around the perimeter of the pool.
